Apologies if this question is in the wrong place or irrelevant. I am the VP of Logan Theater, Inc; a not for profit which has been set up to restore the former Chakeres Logan Theater in downtown Logan, OH. The theater has been mothballed since 1992 and is in surprisingly good shape. The purpose of this message is to seek help / advice in getting our projectors back up and running. We have Peerless Magnarc Model E's with Brenkert BX-60's. The restoration of the building is already underway, however the auditorium is the last phase of the project. If anybody would be able to offer advice / help / whatever in order to be able to save the projectors I would be extremely grateful. Thank you in advance of your time. James Martin

I have been trying to add photos, however despite them being under 500KB they won't upload.

John Williamson lives in Lancaster. He would be the best person I know of in this area to take a look at things. Sorry, I don't have a contact number, but someone on this group might be able to email you his information.

I just sent info on John by PM. John would be perfect for this kind of project.

Especially nice since John lives about 20 minutes from you! Hope your restoration goes well.

I did think that. Was just in Lancaster yesterday! I see you are in Columbus yourself. If you'd like a tour please let me know and I'd be happy to show you round. Thanks again!

If you locate a technician and after assessment decide to repair the Brenkert projectors and Peerless Magnarc lamps, I have an inventory of parts for both if any are needed. Good luck with your efforts!

For your neck of the woods, I recommend getting in contact with Frank Bolkovac for projector restoration! I could help out with projector restoration, but I am quite a distance away in Fort Worth, TX.
