Working on an Eiki RT-0. A new exciter has been installed however it wont light when the projector is running. The lamp is known to be working on another projector and when measured by a multimeter there is nothing present at the leads going to the lamp. Both fuses are in good condition. Any help in locating the problem is much appreciated.
Thanks

IIRC there is a switch that is activated by the control linkage that turns the exciter on and off. That switch is probably bad or more likely, the linkage is out of adjustment and not hitting the switch arm.

I don't have a manual for that model (or any of them) but seem to recall a shop I used to go to years ago explaining how the exciter was controlled on another Eiki model.

Some careful poking around in your machine should find it.
