Hi,

Now I use this one in foo_input_apt-x100 plugin:
1. Front Left
2. Back Left
3. Front Center
4. Back Right
5. Front Right
6. Subwoofer
7. Front Center Left
8. Front Center Right
Is this the right order or not? I'm especially cautious about not mixing up 2 with 7, and 4 with 8.

And one more question. If someone happens to have 6 or 8 track discs with *.AUE files please give me a holler. I'd like to have a few such AUE files for testing.

Thank you!

Haha, you're the guy who made that great plugin ;-) Took me a while to identify it in that sourceforge collection of different plugins...

Nice work, can't help you on that 8 track issue, though. Never touched an 8 track disc.

I'm pretty sure that's right for a conventional 5.1 mix with extra front channels, per SDDS. My Lawrence of Arabia 8-track DVD, containing both 5.1 and Todd-AO mixes, is as follows:

1 = Left
2 = Left surround
3 = Center
4 = Right surround
5 = Right
6 = LFE
7 = Left front extra
8 = Right front extra

The six-track Todd-AO CD-ROM is as follows:

1 - Left
2 - Left front extra
3 - Center
4 - Right front extra
5 - Right
6 - Mono surround

Thanks, guys! Now the only unfinished business is left to find 6 and 8 track AUEs.
