Hi all. I have a nice Vic 5 on the CC7040H console, but it was only ever used with a platter. Now I need the top spool arm and the complete take up mechanism.
Please see photos. The console has the black triangular projector support as shown. (These photos are not of my machine.)
Any suggestions as to where I could find these, or something that could be modified to do the job?

If you can not source the upper reel arm and lower clutch assembly; I have seen the use of an aluminum adapter plate to allow a Kelmar type reel arm to fit on top of the projector. A Kelmar take arm driven by an idler arm with a timing pulley to mate with the V-5 take up drive gear and a belt pulley offset to mate with the reel arm. The idler would have ball bearings and a support for the reel arm. I recently saw one version of the Idler kits being sold on EBay.
