Let me know when you hear about cinemas which have booked "Dunkirk" in 7OMM (5/70 and 15/70) - for this page:

AMC Universal CityWalk IMAX, 15/70. Los Angeles, CA

I thought I heard that theaters running film would open one week earlier than the wide release, but the search I did just now shows only a couple of days: July 19 for film, July 21 for all other screens.

I guess this may be subject to changes. I'm flying out on the 19th to do the 70mm presentation in West Palm Beach, FL starting on the 21st. We'll see how it goes...

I've been hired to do 70mm shows here in San Francisco

(Most likely at the AMC/SUNDANCE/CARMIKE/KABUKI, where
I ran Hateful 8, but I can't confirm that location 100% yet)

Really hoping for somewhere decent in Denver, hopefully the Regal Colorado Boulevard IMAX still has the projectors they used for Interstellar in storage somewhere.

Last time I talked to them, they indicated that the projectors were not coming back. But give them a call and request it. 1 (303) 757-8665

I'd also recommend you reach out to Harkins and request 70MM at Northfield for Dunkirk. It's the best big screen in Colorado. The more they hear from, the better.

I tried bugging Harkins about getting 70mm projection at Oklahoma City's Cine Capri screen for The Hateful Eight. The request fell on deaf ears. The movie would have been so much better on that huge screen rather than the freaking small-ish, common width AMC screen where it actually played in OKC.
