A long time ago I worked as a changeover projectionist, several sites in the Bury, Lancashire area (all now long gone) on Kalee, Westrex and Simplex machines. After leaving the industry I have continually followed changing trends and developments on this and other sites, through automation, platters and now digital. Lots of regular contributors have been followed with interest. Its mostly sound work though. Myself, a long ago carbon arc and changeover projectionist before full timing it in the telecommunications industry.
