I have two Dolby CP500 Processors that I intend to use at some point. While they both seem to work fine it seems both have a similar problem of horizontal lines on the display screen.

Is this a common issue?

Thanks

Yes, quite common. I wouldn't worry about it unless they start to develop so many lines that the screen becomes unreadable. In that case you can source the LCD itself from an electronics supplier, or you can exchange the front panel through BACP if they have any in stock.,

The front panel displays are hard to find and cost around $125.00 but very tedious to change out.

I do sell refurbished front doors for $350 but like Buck says, run them until you can't see a thing.

One has hair and one doesn't.... [Big Grin]
I never had one develop the lines syndrome but I have had them become so dim they can barely be seen.
