Nedrow Master Film Handler Posts: 368 From: Columbus, OH, USA Registered: Oct 2008 posted 02-18-2016 04:53 PM                        Given known lengths of the three non-screen walls, is there a general rule of thumb as to how many surround speakers would be needed? This would be a 7.1 auditorium. Is it as simple as planning one for every N feet? The number used behind that and across the rear wall will depend greatly on ceiling height. Some other things need to be known....
