Hello everyone,
Please excuse the tardiness of this post. I picked up on a conversation in a thread regarding Metric Splicer a couple of months ago, and I wanted to give y'all an update and some contact info.

First and foremost, there's been some moving and restructuring going on, but production should pick up in the next couple of months. To my knowledge, there should still be parts available, but I don't know the extent of what's immediately available.

At this time, Kirby Morrow (company president, since 1987) is still at the helm, but moving into semi-retirement. My grandfather actually founded this company after he retired. Anyway, Kirby is in the process of moving the machining and assembly resources from the old location in Anaheim, CA to another facility closer to where he lives.

That said, if you need parts, repairs, or if you need a new splicer- please contact him directly at kirby.morrow @ metricsplicer.com (I have purposely added spaces, so that SPAM bots have a harder time picking up the email). If you need a direct phone number, please send me a PM and I'll get you his cell.

Again, I don't know what lead times are at this point. I did speak with him this evening and he plans to resume as soon as possible.

I also plan on updating the website, as time permits. I know that it's pretty dated, as I wrote it back in 1997.

Finally, if you guys have any trouble contacting Kirby, please feel free to PM me here. I will respond as promptly as possible, but I'm helping Kirby in my limited free time.

Sincerely,
Trey Morrow
