All,

Many thanks for those of you that helped me sort my DVD sound issues with the CP650 a few months back. I've got a new problem that I'd love the hive mind to take a look at.

During playback of byexperience events, we get, on a semi regular basis, what appears to be an audio loss/ sync issue between the icecrypt DVRs and our Dolby CP650. We do not get this issue when playing back DVDs of any sort. Here is a video of the issue: https://youtu.be/L1DIPaahvAU You can note that we normally see the Dolby displaying PCM Pro Logic on the display. Here it shows AC3 on the display when this error occurs. So it appears the CP650 is sensing a change in the signal and then changing formats to accommodate, but is doing so erroneously causing the glitch - or so I suspect.

Anyone out there seen this problem and know of a fix?

Thanks!

-Tim

That means your Icecrypt is sending out Dolby Digital data stream. See if there is a audio setting in the Icecrypt. Change it to PCM. Other choice is play the analog sound via one of the non-sync inputs.

There might also be a audio delay setting in the Icecrypt that is set incorrectly. That would help the sync issue.
