It has the same tube as the 35mm machines, but no red and green marker.

The oil in the tube is the same as the oil level in the intermittent. See where they want this level on a 35 projector and make the 16 one the same?

On SOME FP18s/FP28s, the is a painted line for the level. Typically, you want it BELOW the upper clip that holds the drain hose (that is normally at the same height as the top of the vent pipe). The key is you want the mechanism submerged but anything much beyond that doesn't buy you anything beyond time if it is leaking. You have a fairly wide range of level.
