Author Topic: 35mm Lens Swap-shop ? Andy Jenkin Film Handler Posts: 28 From: London, UK Registered: Jun 2014 posted 07-15-2015 10:29 AM                        Hi there, Has anyone ever tried to implement a kind of swap-shop for lenses on here before? The reason I ask is because I need some specific lenses and I bet there are hundreds of cinemas across the world who have the ones I need sitting on a shelf, but they are not necessarily advertising them for sale. It would be great if people each posted a list of what spare lenses they have in their booths in a dedicated thread, and those in need can browse through and perhaps offer swaps up for any specific ones they need. I for example have a load of lenses which are for much longer throws than we have, which I'd be happy to swap. I'm looking for some specific sizes (2 x 37.5mm, 1 x 70mm, 1 x 40mm) and it's obviously proving very difficult with only the For Sale thread and ebay etc to help. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, or otherwise has any of the lenses I require, post here or email me on andyjenkin@mail.com. Thanks!
