Hello forum, and happy new year!!

Recently I showed a project I had been working on for some months: it was an art installation of five 16mm projectors that created, along with their screens, a decagon in which the observer could go inside (I will have some video of the whole thing soon).

I made some loopers following the instructions that an enthusiast from the internet gave me, and they worked fine: the problem is that I tested these loopers only with one projector, and it turned out that that projector was the best among all the ones I have, so when I put the same loopers on the other ones, some of them gave me a headache. All of them are bell and howell 16mm projectors, but some seem to work better than others. I think it has something to do with their alignment, but I don't know how to fix that myself, since there are no technicians available for that kind of technology in my country anymore (...). I know there are some service manuals around, but since my mother language is not English I wanted to know from people with experience if it is way to technical, if I need special tools or anything else that might be useful. I would appreciate enormously any hint or advice.

Thank you for your time, I wish you a happy 2014.
