I'm about to tell LIT to start the strip-down, rebuild and re-finish of the second JJ. It looks pretty ugly now, but a close inspection revealed that miraculously, parts that are usually worn down to a knub are in pretty darned good shape.

So before I call Ed Wolk and prepare myself for sticker shock, if they have them at all, I thought I might ask if anybody here has a parts drawer that might have a few parts that I'm still looking for. Here's the astonishingly (to me, at least) short list:

J8-E-40 70mm gate

J1-A-110 film guide roller
J4-A-50 (2) light switches (the right size authentic ones would be nice…)
J8-D-51 Inner shutter

I'm also looking for new rails for the gates. Two new sets of both 35 and 70. I've got the ones already there, but there are scratches, so...

Long shot, I know, but I thought I'd throw this out there.

Thanks.

I think Wolk is no more. Their number is disconnected. I don't know the disposition of the parts or the facility but as a business, it does not seem to be operating anymore.

Strong is around, of course, but since they no longer are a manufacturer of parts, it appears to be a case of when something is gone, it is gone. We recently hit upon that on a Simplex wearable part.

The ability to support US based projectors has very suddenly become rather difficult (with new parts). Your best bet it to find a used part out there...which doesn't do much for the wearable stuff.

Ya know what? This is in the wrong forum.

I'm sorry.

I'd move it to Equipment Wanted/For Sale if I knew a way to do that.
