Film is in its final months...does anyone have theater tour photo sets with their film equipment to submit for the archives here either before the digital conversion, or people still running film that haven't converted yet? Please send them now and help us preserve as many images as possible for future generations.

Similarly, please do send in your photo tours of your converted digital booths as well.

I sent ours nearly a year ago but it never got added (assume you were very busy with digital installations etc). I can send it again though if you're uploading some more.

I've tried several times in the past few years, and it kept getting bumped back to me
because your ISP kept tagging my IP address as a 'known spammer' which is nonsense.

If you sent them to manuals@ this domain, then it should be in the queue. Feel free to resend though just to be sure.

Jim, we may need to have you submit some other way.

I sent photos of my theatre a few years ago as well, to whatever address was posted as being the one to send them to. To the best of my knowledge, they were never added to this site.

I also sent some in a couple of years ago that were also promptly ignored. I am willing to resend them. Where can we send them where they will not be ignored? Is the size limit still 625 pixels wide? I have one more photo I need to take to add to the entire set.

I have a decent number of booth photos from the Carmike 8, before and after the conversion to digital. I never posted them anywhere online previously since I didn't want to get my theater GM friend Jack in any trouble with the home office. But he's been gone for a year now. So I might get some FT-friendly sized images put together.

You should still have some of the Trail theater I sent a while back, I will also take a good number of photos of the Plaza 8 I now work at that is still showing film.

It's one of the Durwood 'original' multiplexes. Started out as a 4 in 1983, went 8 in 1991

Edit: Totally forgot, but I ALSO sent in a whole slew of pics for the Hollywood 10 too.

OK I resent the pictures and captions to manuals@ as per the instructions in this thread. I know Adam used to be the guy who put these up but since his and Daryl's passing a few years back I hope someone else is able to do it. It's 83 awesome pictures of perhaps one of the most luxurious theaters ever to exist, so it should definitely be on Film-Tech!
