Hi friends!

I have a Christie P35GPS projector which was working very well.
I've changed the diodes 3 times in 2 weeks to the rectifier. The rectifier operates at 4000 watts. What part of the rectifier is failing??

Probably either they are overheating or a bypass capacitor is missing that shunts the hivoltage of the ignigter protecting the diode junctions Or it is possible that the diodes are underated

The p.i.v. should be 1000 volts or more. Commonly Christie used 600v diodes until quite late in the run. The failure mode is that the diodes fail at time of shut down when hot. Capacitors (as mentioned above) are important. A small fan will help also. Small breeze on diodes that runs whenever power breaker is on.
