Buskop Expert Film Handler Posts: 111 From: Rotterdam, the Netherlands Registered: Aug 2005 posted 05-19-2012 12:21 PM                     I have a dead led DTS reader that I'd like to repair. Can anyone help me with luminance and current specs or a specific type/brand for a good replacement? I understand extra luminance can be tuned to a lower value by adding a multiturn resistor, but some guidance as to the best suitable variety would be welcome. Note that almost all LEDs have the same maximum current spec.Get one that is physically the same, with the light aimed the same as the dts. Or just buy one from them.
