For one reason or another I've been out of the mix around here for a few years. Time just sort of got away from me, and I haven't been able to sit down and tinker with my Super Simplex, or any of the rest of my gear. When it came time to get everything back up and running I found that the techs I used to call for advise around here are off my grid now.
Who new the digital thing would take over so quickly?
I had a couple of technical problems with the system, and I found that Film-Tech and Brad were right here where I left them.
Brad helped me with one issue, and I found an answer in an old post to another one. So thanks to Steve Guttag, who has come to my aid more than once, for that post.
This is just to say that some of us film guys will always be here, and as for me, Film-Tech means a great deal. Just a thanks.

I'd like to add my thanks to the regulars round here too.

Despite the fact I knew digital would do what digital is doing nearly a decade back, the fact it got personal just recently and that I need to understand it still came as a shock to me, and I've gained enormous insight from just reading what people on here have said, and benefiting from their hard fought experience.

Thanks all!
