I am rebuilding a 1997-made Cinemeccanica Victoria 5 these days.

While I was able to fix most problems that occured, I'm stuck at wiring the reverse scan soundhead.

The main problem is that I just don't know the supply voltage for the preamp. It seems to require a symmetrical power supply, but I was absolutely unable to find any information on this topic on the internet.

I was able to figure out that modern processors like a CP650 do have an integrated power supply for such purposes. As I am planning to use a CP65 or CP55 I guess I probably need some external power supply, or am I wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help on this [Smile]

You are correct you can use the +/- 12 Volts from the 650. Do you have the power supply for the LED?

You do need to find a source for +/-12 Volts.

Thanks for your help. [Smile]

At the moment I'm using the +24/-18 volts from the CP55s test connector together with 7812/7912 voltage regulators to get a -12/+12v power supply.

The power supply for the LED was built into the projectors basement, so the setup is completed for the moment.
