Hello,

I have sort of a problem with two CP65 processors installed in different screening rooms.

Both processors have installed a pair of Cat. 350 SR Cards + a Cat. 222 A-Type NR.
Both processors are connected to a Dolby DA20.

When in "Dolby SRD" all noise reduction cards LED are blinking, but when puting a credit card in front of the SRD camera the Cat. 350 cards drop out.
Same situation is when pressing the Dolby SR key on the fron panel - the 350s appear to be switched off, while only the Cat. 222 keeps decoding.

I am confused as this is the situation in two setups, but I don't think it can be correct.

Our technical support told me that some diodes on the Cat. 243 would need to be changed.
I haven't found any information on the internet about this (only manual for Cat. 222SR/A) and waiting for him to provide the necessary information to me may gonna take some time...
So I am here in the hope, that someone may be able to help me out a little faster. [Wink]

Would be great if someone around here does now more on this!

The CAT350s do not have any LEDs lit when in the SR decode mode. The Cat 222 LEDs always are the meters. If you were to remove the SR cards, you would find that the CP65 wouldn't go into SR! With them in, you are indeed decoding in SR.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for the reply.

The assurance that my obersvation does mean no technical restriction & that I can keep the soldering iron cold, will make me sleep better. [Big Grin] [Wink]
