Hello,

My DTS6D died on me and I bought a XD10 second hand to replace it.
I use a CP500 and my question is :
Can I keep on using the DTS 715 automation board or do I need to replace this board with the DTS cable as decribed in the XD10 manual ?

Thanks,
Serge

No do not use the D715 board to interface the XD10 and CP500. The recommended cable is the E682 which is simply a ribbon cable which is one to one (pin to pin) with an additional connector for external automation system. The XD10 uses pins 1 – 8 for automation the D715 uses those pins on the 6D input for other things. Also make sure on your audio cable pins 16, 18, 19, 21, & 25 are removed otherwise your sub will not work, refer to the XD10 manual that can be found in the Warehouse section on Film Tech, this will have the connection drawings and should also have the E682 cable drawing. Hope this helps.
