Author Topic: Silver Screen for 3D projection Craig Call Film Handler Posts: 11 From: Los Angeles, California Registered: Nov 2004 posted 10-22-2011 09:06 PM                     My lens system requires a SILVER SCREEN to project 3D features. I recently found a new screen material called PEARLESCENT-SILVER. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if this screen material will work with 3D projection? I have used the Silver Lenticular screen material for 3D in the past, but the Pearlescent-silver seems to yield superior color results. The Pearlescent-silver screens are sold by DA-LITE, but I don't know if they're 3D compatible. Looking at their Silver material they specifically mention "maintains 99.3% of polarized light" yet no mentioned of this or 3D under the description of their Pearlescent material.
