Hey Guys!

In the next couple of months I may be taking over the operation of a 35mm twin in eastern Oklahoma. Does anyone know a service tech who covers this area? Brad recommended one but he is not available.

Would the unavailable tech's name's initials have been B.K?
He may be about to retire. He was out of the Tulsa area.

You're the second person I know thats moved to Oklahoms in the last 6 months to manage theaters. Be sure to invest in a good Tornado shelter!

Nah, you just sit out on your porch with a good cold beer and watch it go on by. [Big Grin]

Been there, but when the sky turned green and the rain was sideways, I decided it was time for the basement. We had at least a half dozen tornadoes reported that day, all near my house. Had to buy a chainsaw just to get to my car and cut my way to the drivers side door, I had 3 trees "topped off" at the end of my driveway that landed on top of my car.

C'mon guys, I'm more worried about finding a service tech before I open than I am about tornadoes.

Robert:
There is an industry veteran in Tulsa who would be a great resource to you or anyone else in the area. I don't have his number with me, but if you e-mail me your address, I'll forward it over either tomorrow or Saturday. Corky Coble would be an excellent resource to retain, so if you're still looking, I can get his number when I get home.
Good luck with your new venture!
Don Brown

Thanks Don. I've sent you an email. Is that an honest to goodness carbon arc you are peering through?

I am pretty sure that bopth resources in Tulsa are either retired or are going to retire soon as I know both people.
