I'm hoping someone has a fair bit of wiring knowledge about the Kinoton fp40 and the circuit board that controls the turret and aperture plate and can help me.

I'm converting the FP40 to run independant of the console.
I've got the wiring diagram from the manual that shows the 24v supply to the board, the film ratio selection switches etc but there's a couple of wires that I'm unsure of what they do; There is a 2-pin plug with orange wires that is located adjacent to connector for the masking selection switch inputs. If you do a continuity test between the orange wires, it seems to switch on and off as the turret/masking changes.

What is this set of wires for in the context of the whole console?
