hi guys, do you know if the ernemann projector oil is kind of special or i can use strong?

SImplex oil should work but using non factory approved oils can void your warranty

Actually I reccomend that you e-mail Mr. Oscar Walter at Ernemann and ask him with equivelent ISO weight the oil is that they use. Please post it here when you hear back...

Also... If you need parts I reccomend that you go direct to Ernemann for them. We just did a fairly large order of parts to get a couple of plex's through the next 2 to 3 of years until digital replaces them. The savings going direct vs. buying through Big Sky was substantial and ordering direct was very easy. They are very nice people to deal with.
