I need to do a repair/exchange on an Ultramittent for a Christie 35GPC. Christie's price is over $1200. Does anyone other than Christie do them?
Thanks

Lighting Images Technologies (Dick Niccum) does them....the price is $1,200 with a $400 core credit when you return the defective one which makes the net price $800.

I charge labor plus parts. I do the rebuilding for Regal and AMC, so I've done a lot of these. If your star and cam are in good shape, the repair cost ends up being a lot less. I work for American Cinema Equipment. Hit me up if you need a quote

+10 on Randy's work above ... He rebuilds them better than how they were built out of the factory... - Monte

No Prob. - The 14 plex that I work at has a few of your rebuilds installed and I can tell the difference in movement operation between the two ...

Plus, there are a couple of rebuilds on the shelf that are waiting for me to install them when the others begin to "chat" ...

Good luck as always! - Monte

I second Montes recommendation for Randy. We use him exclusively and all of the intermittents work like a charm.
