Several years ago our cinema in the UK showed Pearl and Dean advertising we always found there was Butt splices with a gap in the track, my local cinema has now moved to Pearl and Dean from Digital Cinema Media, I noticed the splice's between the ads still pop so still Butt splices, can anyone give a comparison that has has in the past show DCM but are now with Pearl and Dean, DCM formally Carlton always make overlapped splices and were always the more professional in the two companies.
