I have a couple of Kelmar/Christie AM-8 automations that are hooked up so the only active cue is the end one which brings up the lights, closes everything down, etc. Start button takes the lights down. The failesafes are wired to only respond to a cross cue, but that is wired into the inboard cue on the backboard, if I remember correctly.

My main question is this: What are the different cues supposed to do? Cross (which is waaaay on the opposite end of the automation backboard, if I recall), inboard and outboard? I can assume inboard is the shut down cue. What I want is for the start button to leave the lights up (I still need to locate where this logic is). I want a cue on the moviefilm to bring the lights down (after trailers). I want another cue on the moviefilm to bring the lights up at the credits and then the final cue to shut it down. If the cross and outboard cue just bring the lights up or down, that'd be great. However I must rewire them as we have other automations in the building with sequential cues. In order for the prints to be cross-compatible, I figured out a method to do this and I'll have to mix the wires.

If Christie kept the same cueing format as with the 3Q system, inboard did douser opening (half light) and credit lights, center cue was feature cue (full lights down) outboard was douser down (lights up full) end of show.
