One time, long ago, I think I ran across a site that collected check frames for various films, regardless of lab.

Technicolor maintains its own check frame resource. Strangely, they don't keep all of their films online, only relatively recent films. Calling for the check frame images is easy enough, but it would be simpler if they simply left these up.

Was I dreaming, or is there a web site somewhere with an updating collection of check frames?

That was here. It became a huge task that we simply did not have enough time to keep up with.

Yeah, they have them for most new stuff, but not old repertory or studio ("vault") prints.

Thanks for the answer though.
