I am trying to restore a Series 90 Kalart Victor 16mm machine which has a few sound problems.
Essentially it looks like no exciter but could be worse but I am flying blind trying to work out what leads go where on the power board which carries the amp, exciter supply and power transformer.
Would much appreciate being pointed in the direction of an available circuit for this unit. The Manuals section has an Operator Manual... not that you need much of an Operator manual for a slot loader.
If I can source a circuit that would greatly assist as trying to read voltages and trace out wires with the bottom hanging out of this machine is almost impossible. A circuit will at least allow me to mock up the switching that goes on and attack the power board on the bench in a more civilised manner and hopefully sort out the fault/s.
