Author Topic: Dolby CP-55 Functionality Question Mitchell Dvoskin Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1869 From: West Milford, NJ, USA Registered: Jan 2001 posted 05-11-2010 12:52 PM                     The CP55 is one of the few analog Dolby processors that I know nothing about. Does it support both Dolby A and Dolby SR internally, or is it one or the other, or with an external box for both, like the CP50? It is nontrivial to modify it to send a non-sync signal through the matrix and subwoofer. They also need an upgrade for split surrounds, if it will be used with a DA20 or DTS unit.
