Anyone know where to get parts for these 16mm projectors? I need some parts from the take up arm ASAP. Many thanks!

Hi Bill

Have you tried the Film-Tech 16mm forum? Here it is.

John, I did not know that there was a 16mm film-tech site as well. Thank you! (I tried to edit the email out but evidently there is a time limit on the edit functionality)

Elmo just discontinued all of their factory 16mm parts sales at the end of 2009. I would try Rich Patchett at www.rcsclassic16mm.com. He specifically services Elmos and has a fair parts inventory. The other suggestion would be Rich Burgess who was an Elmo dealer in the DC area and works on them currently. I don't have his number, but he shows up on 16mmfilmtalk. I know he just redid the power supply on an XP. The final suggestion would be Larry Urbanski at Urbanski film--he's on the web and also deals in parts. Good luck.
