I have a Potts Inc. Alpha platter system. My middle platter is wrapping films that seems to be cause by a wobbly deck. I have change decks and the problem still there. Has anyone ever had these issue and know of any type of fix..Thanks Rob C8 Hermitage Pa

Possibly the thrust bearing that the deck sits on or the post having gotten grooved

Hi Robert! Welcome to Film-Tech...

Yes. The axel nut is probably loose. Remove the cover where the platter lamp is at and the nut is up in there. I think 15/16" is the size... Use an open end wrench to tighten it. This is a very common problem on Strong/Potts Platters.

I was going to change that shaft but that nut was so tight I couldn't turn it..anything else...Thanks
