Hi all. Merry Christmas. I am in the process of restoring a projector and making it into a portable version for me. I am looking for a convenient and space free single phase supply for a 1K or 2K Xenon no more. I do not want a heavy rectifier and was browsing the internet and found these following suppliers. Anyone ever used them and do you think they are suitable for my project?

Lumina Power

Shandong Jinan Hongyuan Electric Co. Ltd

Proteus Electric

So any ideas or any other suggestions? Thanks.

In this country I'd reccomend a Strong switcher. They are reliable if a proper surge protector is fitted, can run off single or three phase. They are also very easy to repair when they do go down. In your neck of the woods I'd reccomend one of the Irem switchers...

Let me refraise it. I need a compact Xenon rectifier/ballast/supply like the LPS of Barco or even smaller for a small 1K or 2K lamp. I need a compact unit and weightless.

Hi Demetris.

It sounds like an IREM P-X 50C might be what you are after, or something rated a bit higher. This model goes from 750-1000W so it may be underpowered for what you want. I used one of these rectifiers for a Fumeo xenon block on the back of a Bauer B11 and never had a problem.

P-X 50C rectifier

Look to the right and check out the models here.

Good Luck
