USA (1774.21 miles northeast of Dallas) Registered: Jun 99 posted 09-20-2009 04:56 PM                        Mag tracks are on the base side, so if you typically use the standard S-wind configuration (feed reel spins counterclockwise, takeup spins clockwise), the mag tracks should be on the inside of the feed reel and outside of the takeup. Most platter houses run emulsion out, which would mean mag tracks in. (Cue long debate on emulsion-in vs. emulsion-out winding.)  |  IP: Logged
