What is this story about the two week only in theaters? Can anyone confirm it? Will it have any 3D footage?

After watching the trailer, there's only one reason I'd want to see the movie:

Then, again, knowing the way trailers are made, I've probably seen all I'm ever going to get.

I found out today there will be at least some 35mm prints available. I haven't heard anything as to how many prints or if it will be digital only in digital locations. I'm glad they are doing 35mm prints because I was not looking forward to dealing with the pissed off people because we couldn't play it.
