Based on the display labels and mention of air pressure and other specific projector variables I'd guess it's for a controller for a Showscan or other special venue setup.

Looks like it could be for the Epic special-venue projector Christie marketed around the time digital cinema was still in the prototype stage.

Wonder if one can find the Christie part/model number mounted somewhere on this device (i.e. IGA15M . MK35 . 3Q . 112564-001.. et.al - for example's sake) and do a search (a google search for example), then maybe one can get a more descriptive name of this device.

Lo and behold, the Christie Epic manual is in the F-T Equipment Manual Warehouse. Go to page 13 for an overview of the controller.

Has anyone here used one of these projector setups?
