Hi All

I have what I believe is a Strong Mogul or Magnarc lamphouse (no manufacturers id) with the LPA vertical lamp (1500 W) conversion. It has the all glass "butterfly" mirror.
I also have the LPA single-phase rectifier for this lamphouse.

Unfortunately, I do not have digital camera access, so I cannot upload pics.

LPA is able to provide me with some rectifier tech info, but not the lamphouse.

I would appreciate anyone familiar with this set-up contact me. I need restoration, set-up and operation tech help (tech literature/schematics).

Cheers

Kutler

I am not aware of a xenon conversion for Moguls, but conversions were very popular for MagnArcs. If the knobs on the lamphouse are yellow/orange, it's probably a MagnArc.

There were xenon conversions for just about every popular lamphouse back then... most supplied by Kneisley. The pisser with the Stupid Trooper conversions and the reason Kneisley discontinued them was that the ignitor was down on the rectifier... But those were and still are the ONLY really good Stupid Troopers. You could maneuver them with your little finger.

I think the Super Trouper lamphouse was the same as the Simplex version of the Strong Utility 1kw.
