Hello Guys

Can you tell me what are the parts I need to upgrade a CP55 for split surrounds. attaching to a DTS 6D. and if anyone have these parts for sale tell me how much it is.

All you need is the Cat 441. I believe Dolby still has these new, despite no longer being listed on the price sheet.

Check with your local Dolby dealer.

Dolby builds them on order being so many of these '55's still out there.

They run close to $500 bucks apiece.

Then, you got the backplane mod to accept the CAT441, and that mod is posted in the "manual" section.

Monte...who told you they were built to order? That isn't true at all and they are definitely out of production now. Dolby, if they have them, will certainly sell their stock. But when did the CP55 go out of production?...furthermore...when did the CP65 go out of production? Longer ago than you might think!

There are also some dealers that also stock such things. If your regular dealer strikes out...check with forum member Louis of Hadden.
