Author Topic: Problems with motor inverter when striking the lamp Marin Zorica Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 671 From: Biograd na Moru, Croatia Registered: May 2003 posted 05-23-2009 12:31 PM                     I have one problem, sometimes when striking the lamp (Zenith X2000H lamphouse) inverter which drive motor (Siemens micromaster) put's fault state out, and it's says over current in motor. Normally no overcurrent just some spike when starting lamp.....I was wondered what could help to this.....I don't have proper earthing here, just GND connected to neutral of mains. I was thinking maybe to add some caps in ignitor, or putting filter in lamphouse main supply?? I was tought of adding RSO filter to lamphouse mains, filter has inductor and bypass cap's inside.  |  IP: Logged
