Can someone tell me if the "output pulse" from a DTS 6D,
which is used to switch an external processor into or
out of digital format mode, is an actual "pulse", or
is it simply a momentary 'dry' contact closure?

(I'm interfacing a 6D with an Ultra-Stereo JS 200, but
I also want to trigger another device in the chain.
Yes, I have the logic break-out board)

THANKS!

It is a dry pulse but there is 5v on that d sub connector so it could be used to drive a small DIP relay
