Could you guys help me out with a lamens terms explanation of what the CAT cards in the cp650 do.

especially the 772, 773, 774 and 790. I know what they are called but I'm trying to understand more of the process of how and why since I understand the what.

make sense?

in short, I'm looking to be certain on where the EQ - b-chain information is stored. I believe its on the 774 but I want to be sure.

I had to swap boards between houses and I'm getting some results that would be completely explained if I had the answer to the above.

[Confused] thanx

Yes, the user settings, among them the B chain data, are stored on the Cat.No.774 board. That's why the settings have to be reloaded into the CP650 with the setup software if this board gets replaced or swapped. If the file is not available anymore, the complete A and B chains have to be redone.
