i have replaced several new solace trailers because even though the dts disc's state that they are on there, in fact they are not. i checked with one of our other theaters and its the same for them. so we have been running them in analog and that will drop out at times. so have removed all bond trailers from our films, waiting for replacements. anyone have this problem?

For the September 19th Trailer Disc, DTS dropped Trailer 1 (which begins with the chair being pulled across the floor) for Trailer 2. Trailer 1 has the incorrect opening date (November 7). If you're playing Trailer 1, there won't be any audio on DTS discs dated after 9/12.

I've not had any problems with Trailer 2 playing in DTS with newer discs.

Analog sound dropping out? I think you have a more serious problem than incorrect trailers if that really is the case. [Big Grin] [Wink]

If it only happens during that trailer and not during the others on the same trailer pack or during the attached movie, it would be pretty unreasonable to blame anything other than the trailer in question don't you think?

But how does analogue sound 'drop out'?

Is it not printed in sections?

Except for possibly "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," there are no bad James Bond trailers. [Razz]
