Author Topic: Cat 700 power supply Marco Giustini Film God Posts: 2713 From: Reading, UK Registered: Nov 2007 posted 10-13-2008 11:25 AM                     Hi Today I was servicing a cat 700 dolby reader that was dead. Found that the component that is in series with the lamp, that I think is an NTC resistor, was blown. The component went in pieces while removing it, so I can't read the values on it. Can you help me identifing the component? Is it an NTC? Can you point me to a suitable replacement? The lamp is 42W, 10.8V. Thanks!
