My log has come up with this one error in a month and a half just thought I would check if anyone knows if I should be worried about this. As I can't find anything in the manual about errors

26-JUL-08 18:15:30 video= 0.250 volts BIST fail:video level:0.250 volts

Sounds like an issue with your Dolby Digital reader's LED.

Fun we replaced them not to long ago. Maybe the power surply is on it's way out it's about 10 years old.

I've the same warnings on my 650s. I think it's because the processor checks the video level of SRD at startup but since my LED are turned off when projector is not running, the 650 see no video level and warns you.

Until you have 4V while an SRD movie is running, you're ok.
