We have a Christie CP2000/Doremi server combination. This afternoon I was building a playlist on the Doremi for a showing of 'Female Agents'. While this was happening a 35mm copy of 'The Waterhorse' was playing on our Kinoton FP40 in the same screen. For some reason the Doremi would not store the playlist I had built so I rebooted the server and did a dry run of the first part of the now stored playlist with out the xenon on. However I completely forgot that the "switch sound to digital projector" element was in the playlist, so when I did the test, the Dolby DMA 8 promptly switched off the 35mm sound, leaving the customers lip reading the movie for at least 5 minutes before I got a call on the radio (I didn't have the monitor turned up). Out of over 100 customers only FOUR asked for complimentary tickets. The Waterhorse was a re-run, with all children getting in for £1 each with parents getting in free, so I guess this is why there were few complaints, however I still felt a complete dumb-ass for making this stupid mistake. What's the dumbest projection related thing you have done and been man enough to admit or perhaps not or even got away with? [Big Grin]
P.S If this topic is covered in another thread, then feel free to move it.
Tim.

Yeah, there are plenty of "I did something stupid" threads around here somewhere.
