In my case, it's the second disc that won't play. I have an ancient DTS-6 unit. I tried swapping disc drives, it still won't play. Running the whole film in Dolby SR instead so the audience doesn't have to hear the shift in sound quality mid-film. Hopefully we will get a replacement disc soon.

we're srd and both our reel 7's have a printing error in that track. have to play in sr till replacements arrive.

(during the test screening, cp65 failed to revert to analog and simply played the VERY marginal srd track as best it could. it was an interesting effect, sort of metallic, robotic, pulsing sounding. it was my favorite part of the movie.)

My "disk 2" dumped to the SR track last night during the last show on my DTS-6D. I noticed it when there was about 45min left in the film. I waited for awhile to see if the system would switch back to DTS. I re-booted the 6D and got the DTS back for the rest of that show. I was going to try playing disk 2 in the other drive today, but I guess "that ship has already sailed" ..... and sunk- according to your post.

I'm going to keep a close eye & ear on the system during the 1st matinee today and see if Disk 2 dumps again.

Just read the above posts and called our theater. Yup, we have the same problem on both prints. Now running in SR.
