Author Topic: Squeaky Masking Peter David Bruce Expert Film Handler Posts: 187 From: East Anglia -England Registered: Aug 2007 posted 11-19-2007 08:39 AM                    ok so weve got side masking only in our screens. ive just done a screen check and discovered that when the curtains open for scope films, it sqeaks like hell. Theres no way i can get up to oil the pistons... plus i dont even know if thats the problem. masking cables are fine, and have been for years any advice? im very new to this game... yet im in charge of projection here and a little confuddled about this one.  |  IP: Logged Monte L Fullmer Film God Posts: 8367 From: Nampa, Idaho, USA Registered: Nov 2004 posted 11-19-2007 01:20 PM                     Definitely sounds like you need a good tall ladder, or rent an upright unit to spray graphite on those rollers up there across the top of the drapery runners.
