Author Topic: 16mm print value Vaughn Hamrick Film Handler Posts: 21 From: Jacksonville , Florida USA Registered: Dec 2006 posted 09-30-2007 05:42 PM                     I'm hoping someone could steer me in the right direction.I have a 16mm print of the film "The Day the Earth Stood Still".It's a TV station type print,good condition,a few splices,not vinegar.I bought it back in 1981 for 250 bucks. I would start what you bought it for and I get it would easily climb past that beginning bid to almost double. Typical selling price is $250-$350. A really mint one could fetch more, I suppose. I sold mine a few years back for $200, but it appeared to be a reduction (albeit a very strong one).
