Author Topic: Dolby CP45 only runs in bypass ? Eric Robinson Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 538 From: Santa Rosa, CA Registered: Jan 2005 posted 07-08-2007 12:26 AM                     I have a CP45 that illuminates the bypass LED on the front panel. The LED is fairly dim and has cyclic pulsating bright red flashes. The bypass normal switch can be moved to normal or bypass with no effect on its behavior. The front panel switches do not illuminate nor do they have any effect on its state. The unit runs on two AC power supplies, one for bypass, one for main power. I tried swapping power supplies, no help. I measured both power supplies which were outputting 27VAC.
